Burgundy, a small wine region in Eastern France is heralded by many as the best wine producing region in the world. While Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are the only grapes grown in this unique area, these wines are considered the gold standard. This class will explore how the environment and climate, winemaking techniques and old world theory make Burgundy so special. We will open a fantastic selection of wines from some of the most well-known and sought after vineyard sites in Burgundy; but be prepared, once you experience wines from Burgundy you may never drink anything else again
