The one criteria I look for in Chablis is simple: Does it taste like a Chablis? It may sound silly but if you taste as many wines as we do it's not such a crazy question. This Garnier premier cru most definitely tastes like a Chablis. Bright and mineral with soft tropical fruit. The premier cru means a little wood which rounds it out and gives it a lush character while still always staying true to it's (Chablis) roots.
